We want to make your experience at Rock Solid Church a memorable time. That is why we have put together this simple page to help answer any questions you might have on your first visit. First, our address is 2500 Via Cabrillo Marina #304, San Pedro, CA 90731. While Rock Solid Church members and visitors can park anywhere in the Doubletree Hotel parking lot our church is not part of the hotel. The building to the far left, where our sign is, are office buildings. We are on the 3rd floor. If you come late you should see a greeter to help you but if you do not please push #42 on the keypad and we will buzz you in. Come up to the third floor.
Where should I park?
From the 110 freeway go left of Gaffey Street. Then turn left of 22nd street. Go past Pacific Avenue. Then go right at the stop light onto Via Cabrillo Marina. Look for the Rock Solid Church sign in front of the building.
Our church is the first building on the left along the road of Via Cabrillo Marina. Go past the building and turn into the Doubletree Hotel Parking lot. We have 100 spaces dedicated for our church. You can park anywhere you desire. Once parked, stand facing the hotel and walk to the far left building. The stand alone building is not associated with the doubletree hotel. Look for the Rock Solid Sign in front of building.
Before or after service you may want to walk around our beautiful campus and enjoy walking along the harbor and view the fish, crabs, seals, birds, boats and fresh air.
What time should I be there?
Service starts at 10:30am every Sunday. However, we have free coffee and pastries available at 10am come early and enjoy the harbor and ocean views and have a little fellowship.
If you have children you can check them into our themed “BibleLand Kids Department” as early as 10:15am where they can play games and have fun while you enjoy coffee or a time of prayer.
How long is the service? What should I wear?
Our services are roughly an hour and a half. We start about 10:30am and finish with a final prayer before 12pm. We are a “come as you are” AND “dress how you desire” church. Most people where casual (jeans, slacks, etc) clothing while a few wear casual dress up. Rest assure that whatever you wear you will see others dressing similar to you, whether you dress up or come casual.
What type of worship music do we play? And what is the service like?
Our worship music is very contemporary with a mix of some gospel. All our songs are spirit filled, which means we really feel God’s presence in our services and in our worship music.
We are a spirit filled church that teaches the Bible. We teach books of the Bible as well as a topical series from time to time. As a spirit filled and led church we believe in in the gifts of the spirit found in 1 Corinthians 12 and pray for people during our altar prayer times. We are also an evangelistic church and give opportunities for all who come to our services to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Is there something for kids ages 0-12? And how do I check my kids in?
We love kids and have incredible children’s workers. All our kids workers have a background check before working with our kids and receive training. We encourage you to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to service to sign in your kids. To get to Kids Church enter the main entrance and go right to the kids check-in station. We are a smaller church so you can’t miss it. Our rooms are kid friendly and is called “Bibleland.” It is a fun environment and the kids love it.
Is there something for students during the week?
Yes! Our Student Ministries meets every Thursday night at at our church at 2500 Via Cabrillo Marina 304, san pedro, ca 90731. They meet from 7pm-8:30pm and have a fun time eating pizza, learning the Bible, and fellowshipping with other youth. We also have quarterly events and outings for the youth where they do community outreach, take short trips, have bbq’s, movie night and more. We also teach our youth an instrument so they can learn to worship God. We teach them guitar, keyboard, bass, drums and singing.
Is there a restaurant nearby?
Yes! There is a beautiful Restaurant next door at the Doubletree Hotel where you and your family can enjoy a meal on the water. There are also many other great restaurants close by such as 22nd street landing and our favorite “The Green Onion.”
Does Rock Solid Church have offices?
Yes. Our offices are inside the church. If you stop by simply use the outside phone directory and we will buzz you in.

Is there security?
Yes! We are actually in a very safe location and our building itself is designed with security in mind. We have trained staff who know how to handle any type of emergency. We also have military veterans who oversee our security.
